BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT
Permanent cosmetic enhancements typically will require more than one application session. To achieve the best results, it is highly recommended that you return for at least one touch-up session four to six weeks after the initial session.
Be prepared for the color intensity to be very dark and bold after the procedure. This will subside and become softer as the skin heals.
DO NOT consume alcohol or caffeine 24 hours prior to your appointment. This will prevent excess bleeding, oozing and swelling during the procedure. Bleeding also causes poor pigment retention during the procedure.
DO NOT take any blood thinners such as Aspirin or Ibuprofen 72 hours prior to your procedure. Tylenol is fine.
*No Sun Beds
*No Sweating in the gym
*No Makeup on the brow area
*No Anti Aging creams or sunscreen on the brow area..
*Do not pick scabs if any appear, allow them to fall off naturally.
*Do not scratch the brow area or pull the scabs away.
*Leave brow area alone and let them heal totally for at least 10 days.
*Avoid getting eyebrows wet or soaked in water (except when you are cleaning them)
Some residual swelling is normal for ALL procedures. The area may appear uneven, dry, itchy, tender, red & irritated. This is all 100% normal. DO NOT PICK. These symptoms will dissipate each day and vary on an individual basis.
NOTE* Color WILL fade/soften anywhere from 40-60%. At the touch up we will fine tune any area that has faded too much. Healing is specific to each client. It is important to realize that you will need a color boost every 1-2 yrs to maintain it’s fresh natural appearance. Fading will happen after each procedure. We do not have control over your bodies healing process. You may need to powder and/or pencil even after the healed results. This is an enhancement to your natural brows not a permanent one.
BOTOX SHOULD BE PERFORMED 3 WEEKS BEFORE OR 3 WEEKS AFTER THE PROCEDURE.
- You have to be off Accutane for at least 1 year prior to your appointment
- If you bleach your eyebrows, it is recommended not to have this procedure done. The chemicals will bleach the hair & the pigment as well.
- No chemical peels 60 days prior and must wait 60 days after (avoiding the forehead is recommended)
NOTE* IF YOU DO FREQUENT PEELS, THE BROWS WILL FADE QUICKER DUE TO Retinols/Retin-A’s, other anti-aging creams or serums containing acids will fade your permanent makeup prematurely EVEN AFTER IT IS HEALED.
Smoking will cause the pigment to fade prematurely and anesthetics will not last as long.
IT IS RECOMMENDED TO STAY OUT OF THE SUN 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT AND 2 WEEKS AFTER. Plan Accordingly.
*PERMANENT MAKEUP & MICROBLADING WILL NOT BE PERFORMED IF YOU ARE PREGNANT. If you are nursing you may get the procedure but anesthesia cannot be applied to the skin. You have to be off Accutane for 1 year. Avoid alcohol or caffeine the day before & prior to the procedure, this will minimize any oozing/bleeding or swelling after the procedure.
*The area may appear uneven, dry, itchy, tender, red & irritated. This is all 100% normal. DO NOT PICK. These symptoms will dissipate each day and vary on an individual basis.
*Remember, no two sides of the face are the same. Perfection is our goal but brows are sisters, not twins.
